UV photocatalytic oxidation

High-energy UV light at 253.7 nm and 185 nm, combined with a TiO₂ photocatalyst and ozone (TiO₂/UV/O₃), breaks down odorous and organic molecules. Design odor removal efficiency up to 99%.

  • 253.7 nm UV breaks the molecular bonds of ammonia, trimethylamine, hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, dimethyl disulfide, carbon disulfide, styrene and similar compounds
  • 185 nm UV splits oxygen to form ozone, which oxidizes the fragments to CO₂ and H₂O
  • The honeycomb metal-mesh catalyst carrier amplifies the lamp effect 10–30 times and lengthens gas–light contact time
  • Construction: SUS304 housing, glass-fiber pre-filter and UV lamp modules; modular, easy to install and maintain
  • Uses: refineries, rubber, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, wastewater plants and waste transfer stations

Low-temperature plasma

A high-voltage discharge produces energetic electrons and reactive radicals that break the chemical bonds of odor and VOC molecules. The electrons in the plasma are energetic while the gas stays near ambient temperature. Applied to odors and organics from pharmaceutical processing, rubber and plastics, ink and paint, feed and fertilizer plants, refinery exhaust and wastewater plants.

Activated carbon adsorption

Gas passes through activated carbon beds that capture organics and odors on the carbon surface; carbon is replaced or regenerated when saturated. Units can be built with an FRP shell for corrosive gas.

  • Path: pre-treatment (cooling, dust and mist removal) → adsorption beds → clean gas to the exhaust
  • Structure: upper box, lower support, platform with handrails and ladder, and filling device
  • Bed layouts: drawer, horizontal or cylindrical; shell in SUS304, carbon steel or PP
  • Media: columnar, honeycomb or fiber activated carbon (four standard series); coconut-shell or coal-based carbon
  • Best for low-concentration, high-flow or intermittent high-concentration exhaust: chemical, coatings, electronics, printing, batteries, plastics, furniture, automotive and similar
