Define the separation component

Describe the mist-separation duty and the space available for the component. Identify the requested construction rather than assuming one material or geometry applies to all demisters.

  • Gas flow, temperature, pressure and the composition of the gas stream.
  • Entrained liquid, expected loading and any known droplet information.
  • Component type, overall dimensions and the available installation envelope.
  • Required separation target and allowable pressure drop.
  • Drainage, washing, support details and the required component material.

Material is confirmed for the specified component and must not be assumed to be FRP. A demister enquiry does not establish performance for an entire gas-treatment system.
