Parameter Standard grade High-performance grade Conditions
Longitudinal tensile strength ≥200 MPa (structural profile minimum) Higher-strength laminates commonly 580–750 MPa (polyester) and about 1,000 MPa (polyurethane) Longitudinal direction; depends on profile and fiber layout
Longitudinal tensile modulus About 30–40 GPa About 40–60 GPa (polyurethane) Longitudinal direction
Wind / snow load and deflection Per project Per project Structure designed to site loads and module layout; not a fixed rating

Values outside these ranges: custom designs are available on request.

Listed values are selection references, not ratings for every configuration. The agreed specification identifies the selected dimensions, materials and required evidence. Standards cited here are design references, not certification claims; custom dimensions depend on the product and tooling.

FIBROVX FRP solar mounting systems are photovoltaic support structures built from pultruded fiberglass profiles — lipped C-channels, square tubes and angles — for rails, purlins, posts and bracing. They are used where steel or aluminum racking corrodes: tidal flats, fish-pond and floating PV, coastal sites and chemical-plant rooftops.

Key highlights: C-channel depths of 50–200 mm and wall thickness of 3–10 mm; standard 6 m lengths; density about 1.7–2.2 g/cm³; polyester, vinyl ester or polyurethane resin grades. Wind, snow, deflection and connections are designed per project.

Key benefits

  • No rust or galvanic corrosion in salt spray, brackish water or chemical air
  • Non-conductive structure around DC cabling
  • Light profiles that reduce handling and installation effort
  • Standard and high-strength resin grades for different spans
  • Profiles cut and drilled to suit the module and pile layout

Customization options

  • Profile shape and size: C-channel, square tube, angle
  • Resin: polyester, vinyl ester (coastal / floating) or polyurethane
  • UV-resistant surface veil and color
  • Lengths, hole patterns, brackets and stainless fixings

Exact sizes, resin systems, colors and accessories are confirmed at quotation for your drawings and operating conditions. FIBROVX manufactures to order and supports OEM / private-label marking where agreed.

Typical applications

  • Tidal-flat and coastal PV plants
  • Fish-pond, reservoir and floating PV support frames
  • Rooftop PV on chemical, fertilizer and wastewater plants
  • Agrivoltaic and livestock-building PV with ammonia exposure

FAQ

Can FRP replace galvanized steel racking?
On corrosive sites FRP removes the need for zinc coatings, but sections are usually larger because FRP is less stiff than steel. Send module layout, pile spacing and site loads so we can propose profiles.

Which resin suits floating or tidal sites?
Vinyl ester is generally proposed for continuous wetting and salt exposure. The selected resin is confirmed in the quotation.
