Coordinate the tray route and fittings
A cable-tray enquiry should cover both the straight lengths and the route changes. A marked-up layout helps identify the fittings and interfaces required for the cable system.
- Tray width, side height, section style and straight-length schedule.
- Cable loading, support spans and any reserve-capacity requirement.
- Bends, tees, reducers and other route changes shown on the layout.
- Covers, joints, fixing details and connection to the supporting structure.
- Environmental exposure and any specified fire, electrical or project documentation.
